Yup, it could happen

     The U.N. has made it plain that it seeks to take control of the world wide web.  That means that your email, your freedom of speech and expression, your online business and all that you read and learn online could all fall under the control of an international agency that does not have the best interests of the US at heart.

The Prince of Wales will try to persuade George W Bush and Americans of the merits of Islam this week because he thinks the United States has been too intolerant of the religion since September 11.

The Prince, who leaves on Tuesday for an eight-day tour of the US, has voiced private concerns over America's "confrontational" approach to Muslim countries and its failure to appreciate Islam's strengths.

My Vietnam photos

     After 36 or so years, I've finally digitized hundreds of the photos I took in Vietnam and have begun mounting them onto a website: 69rvn.  The first category to go online is "things".  "People" and "places" are next.

     The site includes captions for the photos and commentary about my experiences there.  It will be updated as often as I can get to it.

The family of a Pennsylvania Marine who was killed in Iraq is furious with Lt. Gov. Catherine Baker Knoll for showing up uninvited at his funeral this week, handing out her business card and then saying "our government" is against the war.
