Leftover lunch for Monday

     Angel hair pasta dressed in olive oil, butter and garlic, from Rich & Charlie's on 141 and a slab of marinated strip steak from Bearman's grille.

     Better than yours, I bet...nyah, nyah, nyah! Yum!

Thomas' Corn Toasting Bread

     Jay Tea is absolutely correct.  I bought a loaf at the store today and Mrs. Anderson glared at me when I tried to try a slice.  "Mine!" she shrieked as she swung her long, sharpened fingernails at my exposed throat, "It's all mine! Get away from me and my bread, you vile bread-stealing bastard!" 

     Okay, not really: she said it was pretty darned good, though, and I can't wait to try it in the morning.

Then they started getting fancy with THAT. I wasn't that impressed with the Chocolate Swirl Toasting Bread, but the Cinnamon was pretty good. And then came my downfall. Corn Toasting Bread.

My favorite place for breakfast

I'm not often awake when this place is buzzing for breakfast business.

But when I am, it's where I go at 7AM.

Order the "BB" -- the Big Breakfast.  Two eggs as you want 'em, a sausage patty, two crisp bacon strips, American Fries or Hash Browns and biscuits and gravy.  Strong coffee.  Great service. 

Just thought I'd mention it.  I'm hungry just thinking about it.   I always take the right side seat at the 8-top table just behind the central overhead fan. I'm usually alone and I always bring a book to read while I eat.

We can make this happen every Friday just after 7AM, if you'd like. A radio/issues breakfast.  I'll leave the book at home.
